CALLING ICELAND...CALLING ICELAND

From July the fourth I will be in Reykjavik for one month. If there are any fellow enthusiasts (place, space, psygeo) lurking out there on the rim of the world I'd love to get in touch.
I had a crazy idea that I could follow in the footsteps of the protagonists of Jules Verne's 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth', up to Snæfellsjökull?
If you want to meet please mail me at: the_blackdrop@hotmail.com

another list: the smell of old buildings - the woods at night - being given the key to a derelict factory in Hackney in 1987 - Hackney Marshes (specifically the 'filter beds') - Cuningar Loop - building a 'thing' on Rosneath Point - Struey Rocks - Sliddery - Suomenlinna and its giant Hares - getting lost in Pollok Park -
"...(Kerouac) devised a new literary method based on Reich's concept of healthy sexual expression. The essence of the new method was engagement, concern for the material written about, a coming together of the mind and subject like male and female reproductive organs so that description flowed from the inside out. In the 'Essentials of Spontaneous Prose', he explained that he sought to 'begin not from preconcieved idea about what to say about image but from jewel centre of interest in subject of image at moment of writing, and write outwards swimming in sea of language to peripheral released exhaustion (...) and write excitedly, swiftly (...) in accordance with laws of orgasm, Reich's 'beclouding of consciousness'. Come from within, out - to relaxed and said."

From the introduction to 'The Subterraneans' (Black Cat Press) by Gerald Nicosia.
